Dry Eye Syndrome is very common problem affecting about 70 percent of people in different degrees.

Symptoms are:  red eyes, burning, itching, pain in and around the eyes, excess tearing, foreign body sensation, sandy or gritty feeling, pain under eyelids, sharp pain, stinging, eyelids stuck together in the morning, tired eyes, sore eyes, and very commonly BLURRED VISION…

Causes are genetic, environmental, lifestyle-related, weather-related, post-surgeries,
and  age –related (45 yrs and above), eyelid aging/inflammation/ blepharitis/ MGD.

Women are more affected than men.
